TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The Spanish Ladies Open which forms part of the 2012 calendar for the Ladies European Tour will be played for the 1st time in the Canary Islands at the Golf Las Américas course in the south of Tenerife from the 20th to the 23th September.

The format of the tournament (known as the Open de España Femenino) will be a stroke play event where 126 of the top European professionals from the order of merit will participate.

The program for the tournament will be as follows:-

18th September – Practice Day

19th September – Pro-am day

20th September – 1st Round

21st September – 2nd Round and cut

22nd September – 3rd Round

23rd Seeptember – 4th and Final Round followed by prize giving
